Roger Edward Young

Roger Edward Young- 58 Survived by wife Trudy, Son Daniel and his wife Serena, Grandchildren Skylar and Bryce. Mother Evelyn Christian, brothers Greg and Jeff. He was married 38 years, worked for Contech for 32 years. Started out as a welder and excelled to production manager. He enjoyed his job and the Auto Cad drawings he was doing. He semi-retired and moved to Brooksville to be closer to his grandchildren. If you knew Roger, yes he was certainly and passionately opinionated on just about anything. He was an avid gardener; he loved his animals, chickens, dogs, and horses and loved the outdoors. He was a certified captain and dive master who enjoyed boating, fishing, scuba fishing and spear fishing. He enjoyed reading and talking politics and also riding his motorcycle with his wife. He said the best vacation was Wyoming where he and his wife rode our motorcycles around Yellowstone and Grand Teton. North Carolina trip with the kids was great as well. His dream bucketlist was to buy another horse and ride in the mountains, travel and see the Grand Canyon with his family. He truly loved his family and was trying to show them just how much at the time of his passing. He will truly be missed. To my husband, knowing you for 40 years has been a wonderful experience and always an adventure. You will forever be my true love and Daniel will miss you dearly.
