Rudolph (Rudy), 94, formally of Johnstown, NY passed away peacefully in Spring Hill, FL on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Rudy was born in The Bronx, NY. He grew up in Hicksville, Long Island and later moved to Fultonville, NY after serving in the US Army. He is survived by his children, several amazing grandchildren, and several precious great-grandchildren.
Rudy enlisted in the US Army in February 1946. He was stationed in Japan during WW2 as a Military Policeman during the occupation of Japan. After the military, Rudy moved to Johnstown to raise a family. He started R.H Crown Co. in 1966 on Market St. in Johnstown and ran it until his retirement in 1985. Rudy was a hard worker and savvy businessman who could turn on the charm. After his retirement, he moved to Spring Hill, FL. He enjoyed gardening and landscaping as well as puttering in his shop. Rudy will be laid to rest in the Veteran’s National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
