A letter from Elaine:
The last 24 years of being married to Russell were a blast - always something new to do...
Most important to Russell was that everyone is happy. He always had a cheery "hello" for anyone who came near him and usually a story or two. Everyone loved him. He had a heart of gold.
Russell's favorite pastime was going to Publix for the lottery and vacationing in Hawaii. In May, we had just been on our 18th trip to the islands. It had become our "home away from home" in our hearts.
He enjoyed his bowling league every Friday with his friends. Dining out was another favorite of his- and to go to shows and movies. Russell was a very special soulmate. We would laugh together, cry together and argue together- somehow always ending up laughing.
We always answered each other's questions until this final one... why??? You left so suddenly, I can't process this. Our love will always remain in my heart and mind. I will be strong for you and my family until I see you again.
