Sam (dad) you were one hell of a father in law and one heck of a father and friend. You are loved by so many and left such a huge whole in all of our hearts that will never be filled. Your memory will live on and I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to know you and to call you dad. I wish we could have talked and spent some time together over the last few years and will forever regret that. I know you thought of me often as I did you. You were a wonderful father figure to me and treated me as I was one of your own. 

Where do I begin? I loved Sam, and will always love Sam. He was one of the best men I've ever met. He was a great brother-in-law, a great brother, a great son, and WHAT A GREAT DAD!. He sure loved his kids!  We were so happy when Donna & Sam found each other, and loved each other. Sam finally settled down and was happy. What a good man we have lost.
Although we are all in shock, it was so sudden, we are so thankful that Sam didn't linger in sickness or pain. We are left to mourn our loss, what a deep loss. I pray Sam is looking down and watching over us all. We will carry his memory in our hearts.
May Sam rest in peace and soar on the wings of the angels. 

Sam was a wonderful man full of love . He always helped anyone in need. I will miss him dearly. I know Sam loved the Lord and is with him now. I look forward to seeing you again and dancing in Heaven with you.

My family and I are very saddened by the loss of this special man. I am Donna's cousin. So we had the pleasure of visiting with Sam on most holidays. I will miss seeing him play with the kids at fuseball, table tennis, pool, or even hunting for Easter eggs with the little kids. 
I'll pray for all family and friends to keep Sam in their hearts, and always remember the good times.

I worked with Sam at Forest Hills Station. Sam had good sense of humor and a loving caring man who loved his family and friends. We had some great times eating breakfast and our deep sea fishing trips with friends. I will miss you Sam. My thoughts and prayers are with you Justin, Donna and family. Love, Bennie❤️

I knew Sam through the Post office and later in life through our Bowling team.

This was a great loss. Sam was always an incredible guy. We enjoyed many nights with laughter. I will miss him.

We have lost a best friend, and also considered family member.  We and our children have shared many memories with Sam and his family, and those memories will be in our hearts forever.  Sam was a wonderful man and father, and a very caring person.  We are going to miss him dearly.  With a heavy heart, we are sending our condolences to family and friends.

Sam was always so kind and patient, even when dealing with all the Rau girls plus me. I will always remember our days at the beach and the people watching we did. Who’s going to set up the pop up shade now? Please watch over us when we attempt it. You know what can happen! You were  a great man and will  be missed by so many.  Rest In Peace Sam until we meet again.
