

Samuel L. Barnhart, 72, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020. He was born in Pineville, Louisiana to Samuel and Ethel Barnhart. He was a US Army veteran and served in the 82nd and 173rd airborne unit during Vietnam. Sam retired after 37 years from the United States Postal Service. He loved traveling, golfing, fishing, and all sports. He especially loved bowling with his friends, NASCAR and college football (Go Noles!). Sam was most passionate about making others happy and bringing joy into their lives. Words can’t describe how much he will be missed and how he has influenced the people around him. May he continue on his new journey knowing we all loved and appreciated him.
He is survived by his children Samuel Barnhart Jr., Danielle Alvarado, son-in-law Luis, Justin Barnhart, daughter-in-law Leslie, Michael Clemmer, daughter-in-law Heather, Constance Barrow, son-in-law Todd, Angela Surprenant, son-in-law Shane, and Joseph Dominiak; significant other Donna Rau, her family, and her daughters Julie and husband Tony, Laura and husband Jason, Amy and husband Derek; brothers Tommy and Jack Barnhart; grandchildren Jasmine Barnhart, Brian Alvarado, Alyssa Alvarado, Luke Barnhart, Ethan Clemmer, Clayton Clemmer, Hudson Clemmer, Isabela Morales, Abby Barrow, Piper Barrow, Aspen Taylor, Chase Surprenant, Jonathan Leon, Jay Vanyur, Braydon Buehler and Abigal Buehler.
Visitation will be 12-2PM Saturday, September 5th followed by a service at 2PM located at Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill.
