

Our beloved Bill Welch, known for his kindness and a passion for life, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories for those who were blessed to know him. Bill had a way of enjoying every moment and joining people together into his circle of life. Nothing would stop him from helping his family and friends.
Bill began his life on June 22, 1944, in Kennebunk Port, Maine. During his high school years as Kennebunk H.S., he held leadership roles in the school council, as the Class President, and co-captain of the football team. He participated in track, basketball, and the drama club. After high school, Bill joined the Army and fought for our country in the Vietnam War where he was awarded numerous medals. When Bill returned, he attended Plus-Gray's School of Business where he obtained a bachelor's degree in business management.
Bill's career path led him to Loss Prevention management for Bradleys, Scotty's, and Home Depot. He loved to play golf, boating, and watching football.
Bill married Diane Welch on August 28, 1990.
He is survived by his children: Melissa Welch, Stacey Welch, and Bradley Welch.
He is survived by 6 grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
He is survived by siblings, Jeanie Coyne and was predeceased by Robert Welch, Judy Welch, mother Margaret Hoff and father Francis Welch.
Bill's life is a true reflection of all we hope to do and be.
