Carl Wacksman

Carl Wacksman, age 86, of Thiells, New York passed away on July 14, 2023. He was born on December 25, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. He is survived by his beloved wife Judith, his son Lee Wacksman (daughter in law, Denise Wacksman) and his daughter Lori Binder(son in law, Stuart Binder). He is also survived by his brother Dr. Sheldon Wacksman(sister in law, Vicki Wacksman). He is also survived by five grandchildren, Arielle, Jason and Jordan Wacksman and Eden and Gabe Binder. Carl was deeply loved by his family.

Carl was a veteran of the U.S. Army and after that he became a CPA. He was a hard worker and a wonderful provider, husband, father and grandfather. He and Judith celebrated 60 years of marriage this past December. They moved up from the city to Rockland and raised their children in Thiells, NY. For the past few years they have been snowbirds, enjoying both Florida and New York.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 17, 2023 11:00 AM at Hellman Memorial Chapels 15 State Street in Spring Valley, NY 10977. Interment will follow at New Mount Zion Cemetery, 153 Orient Way, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
