Edward Arthur Boxer

Edward Arthur Boxer, 79 of Wanaque, NJ and formerly of Spring Valley, NY died on March 4, 2023 at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New York City on November 22, 1943 to the late Rose & Abraham Boxer. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carol Boxer, his son Larry Boxer & his wife Diana of Ridgefield, CT, his daughter Jodi Denise Boxer of Valley Cottage, NY, his 4 wonderful grandchildren Jessica, Alec, Alyssa & Jason, and his brother Michael Boxer & his wife Kimberly of Arizona.

Ed graduated from Bernard Baruch College/City University of New York and then went on to hold a 50+ year career as a self-employed CPA.

His greatest pleasures in life were spending time with his family, traveling, talking walks on the beach, playing cards and pickleball. He was always the life of the party and brought joy & laughter to anyone he was around. His grandchildren often referred to their “Bee Bop” as the mayor of any place he went. He touched many lives and will be sorely missed by all.

Funeral services for Edward will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, NY 10977. Interment will follow at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Road, Elmont, NY 11105.
