Michael LaBarbera

Michael N. LaBarbera died May 25, 2015 at the age of 83 years old. He was born in the Bronx, New York on Decemebr 2, 1931 to Michael and Florence LaBarbera. Both predeceased him along with his sister Ann LaBarbera. His surviving family members are his wife, Esther LaBarbera almost of 62 years, two daughters, Sheryl Rose and Michelle LaBarbera, Son-In-Law Richard Robson, and three grandchildren, Shawn, Christopher, and Renee Rose, along with his beloved pets.

Michael went to Dewitt Clinton High School, then joined the Marine Corps from 1951 to 1954. He was an auto mechanic, and had his own repair/ gas station on Old Route 304 in New City, Ne York. He was a diehard Mets fan.

Michael was a great father, grandfather, teacher, the most forgiving and amazing man who only saw the good in people and made so many lives better. We will always love and miss him.

Shiva ill be observed at the home of Esther Labarbera following the memorial service Thursday, May 28, 2015, 2:00 PM, with Rabbi Richie Silverberg officiating. Memorial Contributions in Mr. LaBarbera's name can be made to the United Hospice of Rockland foundation at, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, New York 10956.
