Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, David L. Wasser and is survived by loving children, Louis Wasser and Joan(Richard) Heller, and her dear grandchildren, Cara Heller, Jesse Heller, Adam(Amanda) Wasser and Elliot Wasser.
Shirley was a proud community activist, devoted friend and mainstay in her family. She will be missed by all.
Graveside services will be held Friday October 31, 2014, 2:00 PM at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. The family will host a gathering of friends and family immediately following interment and on Saturday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wasser residence. Memorial contributions may be made in Shirley’s memory to United Hospice of Rockland 11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956 or a Charity of One’s Choice.
