Stanley Lawrence Simon

Stanley was born on April 26, 1951, to Paul and Adele Goldblatt. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and attended Brooklyn College, where he earned a degree in accounting and became a CPA.

For many years he worked as the Controller of the Durst Realty Corporation, and has served as the accountant for the Rockland County Solid Waste Management Authority for the past 13 years.

He is survived by his brother Alan, three adoring nephews, and their wives, and five grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018, 10:45 AM, at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley NY. Interment will follow at Pythian Cemetery, Brick Church Road and Route 306, New Hempstead, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations, made in Stanley's memory, to the American Diabetes Association.
