Stephen was born November 13, 1967 in New York, NY to Donald and Francine Golub. He was raised in Nanuet, NY along with his sister, Suzanne, and attended SUNY Albany for college. While working at a marketing company in 1992, he met his future wife and best friend, Cheryl, and married on May 6, 2001. They have two beautiful daughters, Jenna and Nicole. Although Stephen was an immensely humble person, he was exceedingly proud of his daughters' accomplishments and shared his pride with close family. Stephen was truly a family man and always stated that “there is no substitute for family”.
Stephen was known by many as a tech guru, car enthusiast, passionate debater, culinarian, and comedic center of the family. His ability to make everyone laugh, no matter what the subject matter, will continue to impact everyone he has known. He was moral and ethical to a fault, loved by all who were lucky enough to know him, and will always be remembered as a loyal friend and confidant.
Stephen is survived by his wife (Cheryl), daughters (Jenna and Nicole), parents (Don and Fran), sister (Suzy), along with in-laws, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
