Dr. Steven Barry Blechman DMD

We mourn the loss of Steven Barry Blechman, a beautiful son, brother, father, husband and wonderful friend to all.Steven was blessed with a huge heart. He loved to laugh, tell long but always interesting stories, help people around him, and was happiest when surrounded by family,friends and loved ones.

Steven squeezed as much life as he could into every minute. He treasured the wonderful life he created.

We take comfort in knowing that he is at peace now after a long health battle which he fought with warrior-like strength. May he eternally Rest In Peace.

Steven Blechman grew up in Rockland County, attending school there before going to Binghamton University and later to University of Pennsylvania for dental school. He returned to Rockland County where he opened a successful and widely respected dental practice. After a 5 year hiatus in Florida he returned back to his Rockland County roots to open Dental Arts of Rockland, where he perfected the “Blechman smile.” In addition to his professional contributions, he was active in many community projects, regularly giving back to the place he called home. Steven is survived by his wife Laurie, his daughter Kaylie, step children Brian, Tara, Brock, Sarah and Kendra, mother Harriet Blechman, brother Michael Blechman and sister Hope Blechman.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601. Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652.
