When I think of Steve I think back to the Bleichroeder days and the “two Steve’s” cramped on top of each other in that glass fish bowl office for years.  We worked long stressful days, nights and weekends which in hindsight were some of the best days of my career.  I learned so much from him and his meticulous, analytical approach.  He was very intelligent, kind, funny, helpful and loved his family dearly.

When we’d get together, we immediately picked up as if we saw each other yesterday laughing and swapping war stories.  He was a true friend that I knew if I ever needed anything he would be there to help.  

My heart breaks for Steve and his family.  I’ll never forget you and the times we shared together.




I am deeply saddened by the loss of Steven and I still cannot process it. I met him during my end-of-Bachelor Degree internship in New York in January 2018. He has been my manager for 6 months and I have been impressed and marked by his humility, his good humor and his passion for his job. Steven was clearly a model to me and not later than last week, he was congratulating me on LinkedIn. Now that he is gone, I can only think of one thing: Honor Him by working hard and strive for greatness.

He was a special man and I will never forget how he supported me when my son had cancer and provided car service for my son and myself to and from the hospital for 2 years.  RIP

Steve was there for so many people at work. I am truly heartbroken for his family.  He was there during a very tough time in my life professionally and showed such kindness and concern for me as an individual beyond just work.
