
Berlin C. “Buck” Patrick, 82, of Springboro, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at Sycamore Medical Center, Miamisburg. He was born April 10, 1938 in Brushy Fork, Kentucky the son of Edward and Solia (Likens) Patrick.
Berlin served his country in the United States Army. He worked for many years at NCR as a tool and dye maker. He served as a police officer for Miami Township and Clearcreek Township. Berlin also spent time working for MEAD and Monsanto. He was the owner of Heritage Coins in Springboro. Berlin enjoyed geology, hunting, and fly fishing. In his younger years, he spent a lot of time traveling, especially going out west and fishing in Michigan. Berlin was an avid gun collector and also collected old coins. He never knew a stranger and was a friend to all he met.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Margaret Patrick; son, Douglas Carl (Cindy) Patrick; step-children, Teresa Coffey, Kathy Arbaugh, Richard (Tammy) Arbaugh; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Berlin was preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren, Emmanuel Christopher Patrick and Douglas Carl Patrick II; great grandchild, Bailey Adkins; siblings, Berchard Patrick, Mildred Jackson, Imogene Stacey, Ruth Bailey, Maud Patrick.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Monday, November 9, 2020 at ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, Springboro. Funeral Services will follow at 1:30 PM. Burial will take place at Springboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
