Sandra Madden

Sandra (Sandy) Lee Madden, age 82, of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Otterbein in Lebanon. Sandra was born in Sidney, OH on January 27, 1941 to the late Robert and Ruth (Blair) Wright. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of nearly 60 years, J. Frederick Madden in 2019 and her sister Pat Reid in 2015.

Sandra is survived by her sons, Jay (Robin Lacker) Madden, Tagg (Vanessa) Madden; her brother Bob (Jack Lim) Wright; and her beloved grandchildren, Dorian Madden, Kaley Madden, Morgan Madden, and Megan Madden.

Sandra was an incredibly creative and caring woman, a trail blazer of her time. She was a self-employed Graphic Artist for twenty-five years, starting her own company, Graphics By San. She was also an accomplished quilter, gardener, and cook.

She was a dedicated mother who, with her husband Fred, raised two men who grew up to be engineers just like their father. Her love for her four granddaughters was unparalleled. She imparted upon them a joy for creating and always placed importance on making memories with family. Sandy made a strong impression on everyone with whom she crossed paths and will be dearly missed.
