Adam Michael Miller

Adam Michael Miller, 22, of Springfield, died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday November 8th, 2001 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born April 8th, 1979 in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Ronny & Wendy Smith Miller. Adam had attended Southeast High School and had worked as a waiter for Perkins Family Restaurant in Springfield. He loved to listen to music, be with friends, and to travel. He was preceded in death by a grandfather- Robert Miller and by a grandmother- Thelma Smith. Surviving is his mother- Wendy Smith Miller of Springfield; father- Ronny Miller of Springfield; sisters- Angie Miller & Alexis Miller-both of Springfield; grandfather- Rev. Wendell Smith of Springfield; grandmother- Beverly Miller of Spreingfield; great-grandfather- Virgil DeCroix of Texas; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday November 13th, 2001 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 South 6th Street in Springfield. Funeral Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday November 14th, 2001 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, the Rev. John Gioia officiating. Burial will be in Richland Baptist Cemetery in Cartwright Township, IL-near Pleasant Plains, Illinois.
