

Alice was born on September 21, 1926 in Morrisonville, the daughter of Louis O. and Ruby G. Stillwagon Sloman. She married Ernest J. Antonacci on July 6, 1946 in Springfield.
Alice was a 1944 graduate of Springfield High School. She worked for the State of IL, Department of Revenue, from 1974-1989. Alice proudly raised seven children. She enjoyed singing in the funeral choir, was a member of St. Teresa’s Guild and president of the Sloman Reunion. Through the years, Alice enjoyed music, reading, traveling, and exploring family genealogy.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cyndy Holle; her parents; stepfather, Sam Jenkins; one sister, Mary Lou Proctor; one brother, Robert L. Sloman; 3 stepsisters, Lorraine Martin, Helen Beckmier, and Marge Housh; 1 stepbrother, Ray Jenkins
She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Ernest J. Antonacci of Springfield; six children, Connie (Richie) Falati, Joe (Katie) Antonacci, Larry (Anne) Antonacci, Gary (Diane Haas) Antonacci, Tim (Julie) Antonacci, and Jeff (Angie) Antonacci; 19 grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Falati, Megan Falati, Erin (Van) Moore, Joel (Becky) Antonacci, Bill (Nicki) Antonacci, Ellen (Mike) Bartletti, Maggie (Joe) Kulek, Sally (Josh Champion) Antonacci, Alexis and Stewart Holle, Jyllian (Joe) McIntire, Greg (Melanie) Antonacci, Kate Antonacci (John Keller), Annamarie (Blake Connolly) Antonacci, Nick, Gabby and Roman Antonacci, Dominic and Ariana Antonacci; and 27 great-grandchildren, Briana Daniel, Luca and Catherine Falati, Claire and Darby Moore, Tess Antonacci, Abbie, and Sam Antonacci, Louis, Rose, Maria, and Antonette Bartletti, Libby, Leah, and Madeline Kulek, Tony Holle, Palmer and Rylyn McIntire, Isabella, Sofia, Luca, Gianna, Eli and Ava Antonacci, Nolan and Finnick Connelly, and Jack Keller; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation and Funeral Mass: Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Church of the Little Flower, 800 Adlai Stevenson Dr., Springfield. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Allen M. Kemme, celebrant.
Private family burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
