Andrew "Drew-Drew" Daniels

Andrew "Drew-Drew" Daniels, 5, of Virden, passed away at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at St. John's Hospital. Drew-Drew was born February 16, 2006 in Springfield, the son of Danny and Nevonda Flynn Daniels. Drew-Drew wanted to be either a police officer or fireman. He enjoyed playing with tractors, watching Sponge Bob, Nickelodeon shows and the Disney Channel, climbing trees and going on adventures. He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Bob Roach and great-grandparents, Ralph and Barb Glenn, Eleanor and Charlie Daniels and Charlie Flynn. He is survived by his parents, Nevonda and Danny Daniels of Virden; grandparents, Sharon Daniels Roach of Virden, Charlie Daniels of Springfield and Rose and Matt Britz of Thayer; great-grandmother, Iva Flynn of Virden; two brothers, Danny Daniels, Jr. and Matthew Daniels; aunts and uncles, Bill (Christy) Daniels, Jason Glenn, Tyler (Alex) Roach, Kyle Roach, Jay Britz and Tiffany (Curtis) Scott; and six cousins, Abby, Renee, McKayla, Wayne, Wesley and Jameson. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Brush Creek Cemetery in Divernon.
