Anna May “Ann” Huddleston, 88, of Springfield passed away on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Petersburg. She was born on June 6, 1928 in Springfield to Fred and Christine Duhs Feger. Ann married Merl E. Huddleston on March 16, 1956 and he preceded her in death on March 18, 1993.
Mrs. Huddleston is survived by two daughters: Nancy (Dan) Ray of Springfield, and Rose Ann (Charlie) Cox of Athens, three granddaughters: Maria (Bill) Langheim, Amber (Lukas Janulis) Seiber, and Rachel (Dylan Suter) Cox, two step-grandchildren: Seth (Roy Pyers) Cox and Charley (Jake) Von Behren and her special life-long friend Gussie Jones. She was preceded in death by one son Chris E. Huddleston and her brother Fred Wesley Feger.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1345 North Sixth Street, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 9:30am until the time of funeral mass Wednesday at Church.
