Anna Berneice McKane

She was born on June 13, 1928 in Lewistown, IL, the daughter of the late George L. and Feena (Glowner) Hadsall. She married Frederick L. McKane, Jr. in St. Louis, MO on May 5, 1951. He preceded her in death on Oct. 5,2011.

Mrs. McKane was a homemaker, retired from Commerce Bank, and a member of Community of Christ.

She is survived by her 5 sons, Rick (wife Bev) McKane of Alton, IL, Tom (wife Sheree) McKane of Springfield, IL, Herb (wife Michelle) McKane of Plymouth, IN, Ed McKane of Columbia, MO, and Jim (wife Kim) McKane of Ashland, MO; special daughter-in-law Lois Stelzreide; a brother, Sam Hadsall; 7 grandchildren, Laura Chromzack, Scott McKane, Jessica Dunlap, Krystina McKane, Reagan McKane, Ryan Brissey, and Benjamin McKane; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.

Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield, IL, where visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 10 am until time of the funeral service at 11:30 am. The funeral service will also be at the funeral home, with Mrs. McKane’s son, Elder Rick McKane, officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield.
