

She was born on March 4, 1934 in Barron, WI, the daughter of the late Arthur O. and Dea (Bryngleson) Frisinger. She married Ralph E. Williams on June 21, 1975 in Springfield and he preceded her in death in 2004.
Ann worked as a tax analyst for the IL Department of Revenue and retired in 1987. She was a former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Springfield, and most recently was a member at First United Methodist Church in Springfield. She was a member of the Ansarettes and was active in the Harvesttime Singers when she lived in Indiana.
She is survived by her son David Smith of Springfield; her daughter Gail Smith of Texas; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; her brother Gay (wife Carol) Frisinger of Wisconsin; her sister Darlene (husband David) Dean of New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband, Ann was preceded in death by 2 sons, Gregory and Timothy Smith; 1 grandchild Keith Smith; 2 brothers, Marvin (and his wife Dorothy) Frisinger and Lyle (and his wife Betty) Frisinger; and a sister Merlyn MacDonald.
Services are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd, Springfield where visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 2 to 5 pm. A private funeral service will be held. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield.
