Anne Michelle Dickey

Anne was born in San Diego, CA September 21, 1968 the daughter of John and Darlene (Lapacek) Dickey.

She was an accountant for the State of Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Anne was a member of Cherry Hills Church. She had a passion for pickle ball and was a member of various leagues. She played volleyball in high school and continued to enjoy the game. Anne loved to refurbish old furniture. She hand built the bed for her grandson and presented it to him on his birthday. Anne enjoyed her friends, her motorcycle and especially spending time with her family.

Surviving are her son, Alex (Ashley) Pfaffe and grandson Asher, of Springfield, her father and step mother, John and Arlene Dickey, her mother and step father, Darlene and David Schipper, and her sister, Lynne K Hudson all of Morrison, IL. There are several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Honoring Anne’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded by the Bisch Crematory.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a charity of choice.
