

Anthony was born on July 30, 1993, in Springfield, the son of Keith Frantz and Sherry Flagg Churchill.
He graduated from Riverton High School in 2011 and earned a degree from the Universal Technical Institute in Chicago. Anthony worked as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed playing darts, pool, bowling, and he loved diesel trucks. Most of all, Anthony enjoyed being with family and friends and having fun. He had a big heart and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wayne E. and Susan Y. Frantz.
Anthony is survived by his father, Keith Frantz of Divernon; mother, Sherry (Mike) Churchill of Sequim, WA; grandparents, Albert and Tina Flagg of Springfield; great-grandmother, Norma Holliday of Springfield; brothers, David (Morgan) Frantz of Mechanicsburg, Wyatt Frantz, and John (Cortlyn Blakeman) Oxford of Springfield; niece, Gabriella Frantz; nephew, Cooper Frantz; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and beloved dog, Diesel.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield. Illinois COVID-19 guidance will be followed, requiring face coverings.
Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield with Pastor Gregory Dungey officiating. Illinois COVID-19 guidance will be followed, requiring face coverings. Family and friends that are unable to attend may view the ceremony HERE after 4:00 p.m.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
