

Antoine was born November 7, 1915 in Pana, the son of Leo Paul and Magdalena Yenck Trumper.
Mr. Trumper retired as a service manager for Addressograph-Multigraph after 45 years, and later worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during WWII as a radio operator in the Pacific. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #364, Veterans of Foreign War and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. After his retirement Antoine enjoyed spending his days tending to the dogs and horses at his son’s house.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Eugene Trumper.
He is survived by one son: Leonard (fiancée, Terri Pellman) Trumper of Springfield; two daughters: Paula Jones of Champaign, Eulene (husband, Harold) Eilts of Rochester; former wife: Shirley Trumper Ecklund; two sisters: Madelaine Husic of Chevy Chase, MD, Denise Hayes of Pana; three brothers: Victor (wife, Maxine) Trumper of Clinton, Township, MI, Leo (wife, Mary Louise) Trumper of Assumption, Richard (wife, Mary) Trumper of Pana; seven grandchildren: Joseph (wife, Missy) Eilts, Kimberly Vail, Stacey Jones, James T. (wife, Angela) Jones, Jessica Jones, Tashia Trumper, Fara Trumper; five great grandchildren: Diamond Vail, Shelby Eilts, Jacob Eilts, Reggie Lyons, Liberty Kocsis and many nieces, nephews and several cousins.
Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 5-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2003. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2003 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Thomas P. Holinga celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pana, IL.
