Barbara June Driver

Barbara was born on January 31, 1934, in Chatham, the daughter of George Arnold and Emma Louise (Bryant) Creasey. She married William Quentin Driver on July 18, 1951, in Chatham. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2020.

Barbara graduated in 1951 from Ball-Chatham High School, worked at Horace Mann Insurance Co. for four years, and lived all her life in Chatham except for two years living on a farm northeast of Spaulding, IL. She was a stay-at-home mother, loved to sew, and was a devoted Christian who loved her savior Jesus Christ.

Barbara was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beverly Arnold; and nephew, Paul Driver.

She is survived by her daughters, MaDonna (Jerry) Lackey of Chatham, and Marilyn (Jeff) Moore of Woodbury, TN; grandchildren, Amber (Mark) Farnsworth, Aaron (Rachel) Matrisch, Marissa (Brian) Earley, Chad (Autumn) Franks, Amanda Dority, and Erik Moore; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Chatham Baptist Church, 1500 E. Walnut St., Chatham. A Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Weber officiating. Illinois COVID-19 guidance will be followed, requiring face coverings.

Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
