Betty I. Neff Minder

She was born October 6, 1929 in Springfield, the daughter of LeRoy and Dorothy (Brian) Neff, Sr. She married Harvey J. Williams in June 1948 in Springfield and he died in 1978. Betty married Loren E. Minder in June 2000 and he died in 2005.

Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, LeRoy Neff, Jr.

Mrs. Minder was a homemaker and worked for the Sangamon Co. Circuit Clerks Office and Illinois National Bank. She was a past member of the Memorial Medical Center Club. She was a member of South Side Christian Church. Betty loved to dance and enjoyed her family and friends. Her favorite song was “In The Mood”.

She is survived by her son, Harvey R. (wife Judy) Williams, daughter, Linda KI. Williams, and son Gregory L. (companion Karen Dinora) Williams, all of Springfield; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield, IL where visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 9:30 am till time of the funeral service at 11 am at the funeral home. Rev. Robert Green will officiate. Interment will follow at Old Salem Cemetery, Springfield.

Memorial gifts may be made to South Side Christian Church or Lewis Memorial Christian Village, both in Springfield.
