

Bonnie Mae Anders, 70, of New Berlin, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, December 12, 2014 at her home. She was born in Loami, Illinois on March 22, 1944 to Arthur L. and Mary Virginia (Payne) Withrow. Bonnie grew up in Loami and attended New Berlin schools. In the spring of 1961, Bonnie married Carl J. Anders. Together they built a marriage that has lasted 53 years, and a family that grew to three children and eight grandchildren. The bond between Bonnie and Carl has been a wonderful example to their family and will last forever. Bonnie was a member of the Associates of the Third Order of St. Francis. She had volunteered for many community organizations throughout the years. She was devoted to her family. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Carl of New Berlin; son, C. Joseph (wife, Patty) Anders of Springfield; daughter, Theresa (husband, Greg) Lokaitis of Springfield; son, William L. Anders (companion, Lisa Beddingfield) of New Berlin; eight grandchildren, Michael Anders, Christa Anders, Jane Anders, Sarah (husband, Corey) Jones, Gregg (wife, Katie) Lokaitis, Keli Lokaitis, Clare Anders and Grace Anders; one brother, James (wife, Donna) Withrow; and one sister, Shelba (husband, George) Burris both of Springfield. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home, 714 East Gibson Street, New Berlin. Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home with Charles Duggins, officiating. Burial will follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Loami.
