

Bradley was born December 18, 1961, in Freeport, IL, the son of James F. Hillman, Sr. and Myrna Keller Hillman.
He graduated from Forreston High School in 1980. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and, subsequently, a second bachelor’s degree in History from Illinois State University. Bradley went on to earn his master’s degree from UIS in Criminal Justice. He had a career with the Illinois Department of Corrections where he held various administrative positions, including Assistant Warden of Operations, Assistant Warden of Programs and Director of the Training Academy. Bradley volunteered at Red Cross and touched many people in a positive way. He loved spending time with his family and friends, some of which he had known since kindergarten. Bradley also loved to travel, read, and learn new things.
Bradley is survived by his father and stepmother, James Hillman, Sr. and Laura Hillman of German Valley, IL; his mother, Myrna Burmeister of North Aurora, IL; his brother, James F. (Paula) Hillman, Jr. of Wheaton, IL; sister, Pam (Lee) Monroe of Lake Villa, IL; and step-sister, Katie Boomgarden of German Valley, IL.
Private family Graveside Ceremony was held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
