

Brendon was born on November 19, 2002 in Springfield, the son of Sally Vespa.
Brendon liked listening to music, playing video games and spending time with his friends. He loved the game of football and was planning to play for Athens High School this year. Brendon previously played football in Chatham. He had a part-time job working at Arby’s in Northfield Center.
He is survived by his mother, Sally Vespa of Athens; siblings, Brayden, Benjamin, and Falyn Seman; Jason, Jodi, Kyla, Cory and Kiara Meyers of Chatham; grandparents, Bonnie (Charles “CJ” Muir) Crowe of Springfield, Ralph and Regina Vespa of Athens, Suzanne and Troy Delay of Jacksonville, Chuck and Judy Sharp of Springfield, and Ron and Debbie Meyers of Olathe, KS ; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield. Illinois COVID-19 guidance will be followed, requiring face coverings and limiting attendance to 10 guests at one time.
A private family funeral ceremony and burial will be held. If you would like to be part of the procession, please arrive at the funeral home and remain in your car. Visitors can also proceed to Joel Hall Cemetery and await the arrival of the procession.
Pallbearers will be Kyla, Cory and Kiara Meyers and Brayden Seman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Luke Greene and Landon Cole.
