Brian K. Bozarth, 42, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Born February 18, 1969, in Springfield, he was the son of Robert William and Ann Elizabeth Swiney Bozarth. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Elbert and Anna Bozarth, and William and EllenOrr Swiney. Mr. Bozarth is survived by his parents, Robert and Ann Bozarth, Springfield; sisters Janette (Quintin) Smith of Glenarm, Karen (Mike) Redenbaugh of Athens; nieces Karli McGrath, Mary McGrath, Grace Smith, Rylee Smith; nephew Michael Redenbaugh; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Brian Bozarth was a 1987 graduate of Glenwood High School. He was a construction foreman who loved woodworking and to fish. A Casual Memorial Gathering will be held at Staab Polk Memorial Home, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham, Illinois on Monday, October 10, from 9-10:30 AM. His family requests blue jean attire. Memorial services will begin at 10:30 AM at Staab Polk Memorial Home, Chatham with Rev. Sara Isbell officiating. Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
