Bruce Allan Larson, 51, of Springfield, died at 9:12 a.m. Thursday, December 25, 2003 at his home. Bruce was born April 5, 1952 in Chicago the son of Paul Allan and Betty Schultz Larson. He was employed by the State of Illinois Commerce Commission as an Electrical Consultant. He graduated from Purdue with a degree in electrical Engineering. He then took classes at Stanford and Marquette University to obtain his Professional Engineering License. He was a member of Propt Club. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his daughter: Theresa Larson of Springfield; mother: Betty Larson of Willow Brook; two sisters: Susan (husband, Richard) Higgins of Carmel, IN, Carol Larson (Spouse, Gwen Sanford) of Traverse City, MI. and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2003. Celebration of Life will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2003 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Scott Brindley officiating.
