Cali Summer Walls

Cali Summer Walls was born into this world a true miracle on November 03, 2017, in Springfield, IL to Ashley Bryant and Terrance Walls II. She left this world an even bigger miracle, on February 1, 2020, to be with her Heavenly Father. Cali won the world over with her beautiful long eyelashes, her huge smile, and her contagious laugh. On the inside, she was full of courage, love, and determination. She never gave up and she never let her challenges define her. Cali was full of happiness and was a true inspiration to everyone she encountered.

Cali enjoyed watching SpongeBob SquarePants and Teen Titans with her big sister, Aspen, snuggling with mommy and daddy, and playing with her little brother and sister, Lenox and Oaklyn. Cali leaves a legacy, here on Earth. She reached thousands of people, all over the world, just by being her. She was, and continues to be, a true miracle and inspiration. She is our hero and we are immensely proud of her. Cali was not defeated. With God by her side, she won. She redefined Trisomy 18. In everything that we do, we aspire to be #CaliStrong.

Ashley and Terrance wish to thank Cali’s dream team of physicians, nurses, and therapists. And of course, the countless number of people who faithfully prayed for our family. Special thanks to Dr. Beau Batton, Dr. Ashish John, and Cali’s guardian angels on Earth, Jodi Isley and Sarah Eytchison.

Cali leaves to cherish her memory, parents, Ashley Bryant and Terrance Walls II; sisters, Aspen Walls and Oaklyn Walls of Springfield, IL; brothers, Ta’Karee Bryant and Lenox Walls of Springfield, IL; grandparents, Letris Bryant of Springfield, IL, Nathalie Chandler of Springfield, IL, and Joseph Stewart of Canton, IL; uncles, Terell Stewart of Springfield, IL and Michael Chandler of Springfield, IL; aunts, Nate’ Chandler of Springfield, IL and Nicole Chandler of Springfield, IL; special cousins, Kynadee Stewart and James Cummings III of Springfield, IL; and numerous extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
