Carl L. "Messy" Clements

Carl L. "Messy" Clements, 72, of New Berlin, passed away at 10:20 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014 at St. John's Hospital. Carl was born May 3, 1942 in Sangamon County, a son of Harry and Teenie "Casson" Clements. Carl was a brick mason who worked with his brother Harry for 45 years. After retiring from masonry, Carl worked at Shep's Bar & Grill. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Josh Edward Clements in 1978; one brother, Harry Clements; four sisters, Patty Sheppard, Belinda McGee, Janice Solomon, and Debbi Estes. He is survived by one son, Casey L. (wife, Tiffany) Clements of Berlin; three daughters, Carla Barker (Ray Jackson) of New Berlin, Allison (husband, Shawn) Krzanowicz of Orchard Park, NY, and Kimberly Clayton of New Berlin; six grandchildren, Josh Krzanowicz, Miranda Krzanowicz, Rhealynn Clements, Kelci McCarty, Alex Scott, and Charlie Jean Scott; two brothers, Tommy (wife, Nancy) Clements of New Berlin and Delano (wife, Fran) Clements of Missouri; three sisters, Alice Fleming of New Berlin, Connie (husband, Jim) Wood of Taylorville, and Kathy Clements of New Berlin; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering and Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial ceremony at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2014 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home, 714 East Gibson Street, New Berlin with Rev.
