Carolyn E. Bedolli

She was born on February 14, 1939, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Edward L. and Alice E. (Keckler) White. Carolyn married Robert Bedolli on April 22, 1961, in Springfield.

Carolyn graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1957. She worked for Franklin Life Insurance, Sangamon County Coroner’s Office, then went on to work for Van Meter, Oxtoby and Funk from 1974 to 1988, and then with Illinois State Dental Society, retiring in 1994. Carolyn was a member of Professional Secretary’s International. Carolyn sang in the choir at St. Cabrini Catholic Church and was also a member of the PTA at St. Cabrini. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, baking, playing cards, flower arranging, and spending time with grandchildren and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Robert R. Bedolli of Springfield; daughter, Lori Ann (Timothy) Patrick of Mechanicsburg; sons, John E. of Springfield and Jeffrey M. (Angie) Bedolli of CO; and grandchildren, Jessika R. (Ben) Crossen, Hailey P. Patrick, Timothy M. Patrick, and Gianna L. Bedolli.

Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home 900 S. 6th Street in Springfield, followed by the Funeral at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. George Nellikunnel officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
