Cathy Ann Davis

She was born on July 20, 1955 in Springfield, the daughter of the late John L. Roth and Shirley A. (Micko) Pillischafske. She married Charles A. Davis, Jr. in Springfield on September 20, 2008 and he survives.

Mrs. Davis worked for the State of Illinois and was a member of South Side Christian Church in Springfield.

Besides her husband Charles, she is survived by a daughter, Michelle A. Kendall, a son Matthew N. Kendall, a step-daughter, Kelly (husband Scott) Underwood, all of Springfield, 5 grandchildren, a brother Greg (wife Brenda) Roth of Pawnee, IL and a sister Courtney (husband Shawn) McGath of New Berlin, IL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.

Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield, where visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 10:30 am at the funeral home, with Rev. John Wentz and Rev. Robin Roth officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
