Cindy F. Hembrough

Cindy F. Hembrough, 49, of Glenarm, passed away at 7:45 a.m. on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Cindy was born August 3, 1965 in Coral Gables, FL, the daughter of Richard Wade and Betty (Williams) Fisk. Cindy was a 1983 graduate of Coral Gables Senior High School. She attended Georgia Southern University and earned a BA in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. Cindy taught for several years and then became a stay- at -home mom. She was outgoing and enjoyed singing, reading, and fine arts. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her daughters, Brittany G. Hembrough of Springfield and Hannah Hembrough of Chatham; her parents, Betty and Wade Fisk of Coral Gables, FL; one brother, Robert (wife, Maria) Fisk of Pembroke Pines, FL; one aunt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Chatham United Methodist Church, 104 W. Chestnut St., Chatham. Funeral Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Chatham United Methodist Church with Rev. Sara Isbell officiating. Additional Visitation and Graveside Ceremony: Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Oxley-Heard Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until departing for the Graveside Ceremony at Bosque-Bello Cemetery in Fernandina Beach, FL.
