

Making a joyous arrival in heaven where he was reunited with the love of his life, Lucille.
Cornelius Paul Sullivan was born in Kincaid, IL, on May 10, 1935. The son of Cornelius and Louisa Sullivan. He married Lucille on June 28, 1957, at Assembly of God in Pawnee.
Con was a 1953 graduate of South Fork High School in Kincaid. He worked at Illinois Bell where he retired.
Con leaves behind two sons, Tim (wife, Janna) Sullivan of Rochester and Tom (wife, Linda) Sullivan of Thousand Oaks, CA; four grandchildren, Todd (wife, Holly) Sullivan, Tanya (husband, David) Sullivan-Higgerson, Kelly (husband, Todd) Heibner, and Bryan (wife, Kim) Casad; nine great-grandchildren, Alex Sullivan-Merwin, Chanse Heibner, Kaleb Sullivan, Ian Heibner, Maddox Heibner, Greyson Sullivan, Brin Casad, Kip Casad, and Briggs Casad; and several bonus grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Con is also survived by his best friend, Bob Guidotti, friends since childhood strengthened over decades of shared memories.
A proud veteran, he served honorably in the United States Army.
He had a lifelong fascination with trains and was an avid collector of model trains. This hobby brought him a unique sense of joy and wonder.
Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield. A Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee, IL.
