Born on September 24, 1961, in Beardstown, IL, she was the daughter of Calvin L. and Lois C. (Hadley) Thiele.
Cindy was a graduate of Meredosia-Chambersburg High School and continued her education at Jacksonville Business School. She spent over 28 years working as a claims processor for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois before retiring.
Cindy had a strong faith and was an active member of The Crossing Church, where she enjoyed serving in various capacities, including helping with the church food pantry. She had a deep love for animals and cherished her time with her dogs—Zipper, Tickles, and Toke.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Thiele.
Cindy is survived by her father, Calvin Thiele of Quincy; her sister, Laura Toland of Mt. Sterling; her brother, James Thiele of Eugene, OR; and her beloved nieces and nephews: Dustin (Loretta) Parker and Andrew Parker both of Meredosia, and Samantha, Ian, and Amy.
Private family ceremonies will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
