David W. Ushman

David W. Ushman, 54, of Springfield, died at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at his residence. David was born August 5, 1950 in Springfield the son of Anthony, Sr. and Doris Stainbrook Ushman. Mr. Ushman was a 1969 graduate of Springfield Southeast High School. He was employed by the State of Illinois Department of Revenue as a computer analyst. He enjoyed computers, gardening and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, Frances “Mickey” Steel Ushman and brother: Mike Ushman. He is survived by his partner: Mike Langenfeld of Springfield; two sisters: Carol (husband, Bob) Cheek of Girard, Mary (husband, Donald) Hopper of Springfield; five brothers: Anthony “Tony”, Jr. (wife Sally), Donald (wife, Carol), Roger (wife, Judy), Kenny (wife, Martha) and Robert “Robbie” (wife, Janet) Ushman all of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 524 E. Lawrence Ave., Springfield with Rev. Msgr. John R. Ossola. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
