Debra S. Burke, 60, of New Berlin, passed away at 9:48 p.m. on January 12, 2016 at her son's home. Debra was born September 18, 1955 in Springfield, the daughter of Shirley Clark Smith and George H. Smith III. Debra was a homemaker. She loved being a grandma and her greatest blessing was her children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lon Burke; her parents; grandparents; and a sister. Debra is survived by her sons, Lon (Jessica) Burke, Jr. of New Berlin and Robert Smith of Springfield; daughter, Angela (Gary) Voyles of Springfield; three sisters, Shelly Johnson of Auburn, Robin Hull of Springfield, and Tracy Smith of Decatur; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and aunts; including her special aunt, Barb Henn of Auburn. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin. Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
