Delores D. Rothschild

Delores was born on June 9, 1934, in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Ben and Rose (Berkow) Shea. She married Harvey Steven Rothschild on May 12, 1963, in St. Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Rothschild; parents (listed above); and sister, Lillian Markowitz.

Delores was a very active member of Temple B’rith Sholom since 1967. She was a lifelong member of Sisterhood and Hadassah. Delores was employed as a bookkeeper for various local businesses and retired from the Hilton Hotel.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey Rothschild of Springfield; children, Brent (wife, Renee) Rothschild of VA, Ava (husband, Waqar) Jung of Tallahassee, FL and Jourdan (wife, Lisa) Rothschild of Springfield; five grandchildren, Amanda Persinger of CA, Megan Shuff of GA, Desiree Castles of Greenview, IL, Alex Rothschild of Springfield and Serena Rothschild of OH; and five great-grandchildren, Lilith Penelope Rose Shuff, Freya Elizabeth Shea Shuff, Mason Wayne, George Terry, and Skylar Castles.

Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Temple B’rith Sholom, 1004 S. 4th St., Springfield, with Rabbi Lynn Goldstein officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
