

Dolores was born March 20, 1931 in Springfield, the daughter of U. A. "Jack" and Marguerite Melton Kaufman. She married Glenn E. Allison on September 13, 1952 at St. Joseph Church in Springfield.
Dolores was a devoted member of St. John Vianney Church where she served in the Lady's Society and volunteered for funeral and Senior Citizen Dinners. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. She will be missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, James Allison; sister, Mary Frances Kaufman; and brother, Lieutenant Commander Gerald Kaufman.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Glenn of Sherman; her children, Michael (wife, Karen) Allison of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, Mary Kay Allison of Springfield, Sharon (husband, David) Jones of Pawnee and Stephen (wife, Cynthia) Allison of Williamsville; nine grandchildren, Steven, Joshua, Blake, Elizabeth, Shannon, Eric, Bryce, Kyle, and Matthew; great-grandson, Hayden; brother, Kenneth (wife, Billie) Kaufman; sister, Dorothy Gallenbach of Aurora; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th Street, Springfield. The visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at St. John Vianney with Rev. Msgr. Carl Kemme V.G., celebrant.
Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
