Donna Mae Foster, 92, of Lincoln, passed away on November 12, 2023 at St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior Care in Lincoln. She was born on March 21, 1931 in Buffalo, North Dakota to August Paul and Irene Gillund Paul. Donna married Francis Foster on June 20, 1953 and he survives.
Mrs. Foster is also survived by two sons: Kim Foster of Chatham and Craig Foster of Sherman, one grandchild Sheradan Foster and two great-grandchildren: Jaxon and Levi Gwinn.
Donna worked for Dayton Department Stores in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After moving from Minnesota to Illinois she worked as a nurse’s aid at the former Everett Dirksen nursing home, as well as at Memorial Hospital. Following that she worked for doctors Nolan and Diamond at Doctor’s Park in Springfield in a clerical position. Following that she began her work for the State of Illinois.
Cremation rites were accorded.
