Donna Leslie Hatfield

Donna was born January 13, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Armando and Mary Sinopoli. She was previously married to David E. Hatfield for 18 years and had a daughter, Elizabeth Renee and a son, Sean Anthony Hatfield.

She worked at the Illinois Department of Corrections and retired in 2001. Donna loved making crafts, cooking, dancing and being with her family and friends. She never knew a stranger, was generous, thoughtful, loving and caring to all. She always left a positive impression on anyone she met – friends, family and those who supported her.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Sean.

She is survived by her daughter, E. Renee (partner, Carmen Allen) Hatfield; sister, Barb (husband, Gene) Dreher; very close friend, Cindy Parkhill; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield. A Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
