Donna J. Robinson

Donna was born on March 11, 1932, in Argyle, MN, the daughter of Frank and Irene (Bordenkircher) Duncheon. She married Donald Dean Robinson on July 11, 1953, in Springfield.

Donna graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1950 and worked for USDA in Risk Management until her retirement. Donna was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed doing family activities, ball games, Theatre Guild, The Muni, and baking pies. Donna was always smiling and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; son, David Robinson; brothers, Francis, Jerome, and Charles “Buddy” Duncheon; and sisters, Rose Duncheon, June Duncheon, and Mary Kulek.

Donna is survived by her sons, Steve Robinson of Los Angeles, CA, Keith Robinson of Springfield, Dale (Paula) Robinson of Lewiston, TX, and Lee (Patty) Robinson of Springfield; daughters, Nancy (Pat) Antonacci of Chatham, Kathleen (Tim) Hull of Sherman, Sandra Robinson of Springfield, and Karen (Steve) Gerlach of Chatham; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Carole (Jim) Skufca of Springfield, and Teresa Heimlich of Lakeland, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2000 E. Sangamon Ave., Springfield, with Rev. George Nellikunnel, S.A.C., celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
