Dorothy L. Krone

She was born August 31, 1923 the daughter of William and Ida Suplit Nelson. She married Fred Krone in Springfield, June 18, 1954 and he preceded her in death June 20, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Dorothy was a member of Third Presbyterian Church in Springfield. She retired in 1985 as a service representative for the Social Security Administration Office and then in 1988, became self employed as a Hearing and Appeals Monitor for the Social Security Administration, retiring again in 2003.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda (husband Charles) Jesberg, of Hoffman Estates, IL., 2 grandchildren; Charles (wife Tess) Jesberg Jr. of Hoffman Estates, IL., and Lori (husband Brylan) Achilles of Downers Grove, IL and 3 great grandchildren; Alexander Jesberg, Leah Achilles, and Henry Achilles.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd. Springfield where the family will receive friends on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 2:00 pm until time of services there at 4:00 pm. Rev. Brent Mitchell will officiate. Graveside services will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery at 2:00 pm Monday with Rev. Brent Mitchell officiating.
