Dorothy June Norris, 74, of Springfield, passed away at 8:40 a.m. on Tuesday, August 06, 2013 at her residence. June was born on July 1, 1939 in Salem, the daughter of Dean and Erma Garner Parker. She married Paul Norris on September 23, 1962 in Salem. June was devoted Mother and Grandmother. She worked as a supervisor at Illinois Bell and was a member of Real Life Church. She was generous with her time, love, and worldly goods. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jason Norris; and brother, Gary Parker. She is survived by her husband, Paul Norris of Springfield; children, Jennifer (husband, Travis) Hamilton of Springfield and Jeff Norris of Springfield; four grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, and Samantha Hamilton, and Miles Norris. Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10am until the time of the ceremony at 12 pm on Tuesday August 13, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
