

Nadine was born on November 5, 1929 in Curran, IL the daughter of Fred Elvis and Nancy Allie Buchanan Harlan. She married Arthur Bisby on May 28, 1948 in Springfield; he preceded her in death on December 7, 1997.
She had been employed by The Mail Room and Springfield School District #186. She was a member of the Springfield Women’s Bowling Association (SWBA).
She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Dewey, Ivan, Elvis and Herbert Harlan, two sisters: Goldie Shepherd and Edith Gabriel and one great grandson: Michael.
She is survived by four sons: Gary (wife, Lynn) of Springfield, John (wife, Iva) of Mechanicsburg, Fred (wife, Connie) of Springfield and Ron (wife, Terry) Bisby of Springfield; four daughters: Linda (husband, Jim) Ratliff of Cantrall, Karen (husband, Mike) Tyler of Cloverdale, IN, Chris (husband, Pat) Carmody of Bloomington, Deanne (husband, Scott) Roegge of Beardstown; twenty grandchildren; four step grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; two brothers: William Harlan of Carlinville, Delmar (wife, Margaret) Harlan of Cantrall; four sisters: Eileen (husband, George) McAfee of Aurora, CO, Edna Clark of Springfield, Alice (husband, Dean) Hopper of Springfield, Bernice (husband, Richard) Young of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 4-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Mendell officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
