

She was born on November 21, 1926, in Clinton Co, IL, the daughter of the late Alfred and Regina (Werner) Schlobohm.
Eleaner worked asa service representative for Ameritech, retiring in 1992. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and was active with the Ladies Aid group and the Lutheran Womens’ Missionary League.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah Searcy and Kathy Beall, both of Springfield; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a brother Neal (wife Doris) Schlobohm of New Mexico.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Sarah Bonnell, 3 brothers, Alfred, Harold, and Roland Schlobohm, and a son-in-law Jack Beall.
Services are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 S.Koke Mill Rd., Springfield. A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 10 am at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, with Rev. Aaron Schnelle officiating. Those who plan on attending the graveside service on Monday, please meet outside the front gates of the cemetery on Monument Ave.
Memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aid, the American Heart Association, or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
