

Eleanor was born on May 26, 1931, in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of George Rightsel and Hazel Rightsel. She married Louis Mosley on December 24, 1953, in Terre Haute, IN; he preceded her in death.
Eleanor was a 1953 graduate of Indiana State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She then went on to earn her master’s degree from the University of IL in 1960. She had a 37-year career as a Speech Therapist with District 186. Following retirement, she worked part time for Chapter One Bookstore. Eleanor was a certified life member of the American Speech & Hearing Association and a member of the IL Retired Teachers Association. She was also a member of the Kumler United Methodist Church and former member of the Trinity United Methodist Church since 1954. In her spare time, Eleanor enjoyed traveling and reading.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wilton Rightsel.
She is survived by her niece, Pamela Rightsel of Bloomington; her nephew, Michael Rightsel of Mesa, AZ; sister-in-law, Annabelle Rightsel; Mark and Susan Stoddart who made her welcome as part of their Springfield family.
Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 S. Grand Ave. West, Springfield. A Funeral Ceremony will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Tony Stang officiating.
Graveside Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, IN.
